James Cameron wants to avoid Matrix 2 issues with Avatar 2
James Cameron has been doing plenty of talking concerning the Avatar sequels of late, and his most recent soundbite concerns his desire to avoid the pitfalls experienced by fellow sci-fi sequel, The Matrix Reloaded…
A thought on this, Mr. Cameron. As someone who thoroughly enjoyed Avatar, shortcomings and all, and who hasn’t jumped on the bandwagon of automatically hating it because, just like Star Wars, it took many many elements of it’s story from previous films, literature and the like… please remember you’re making a film, not a conservation documentary. And don’t be so heavy handed in your expression of the message you want to put forth. Which, I might add, is completely up to you. Other than that, I am excited, so very excited to see how where you take cinema in the next couple of years with these films.

Christopher Nolan’s Batman Begins & Man of Steel Teasers
“If you make yourself into more than just a man, then you become something else entirely. A legend.”
“Whoever that man is, good character or bad, is going to change the world.”
IT’S TOO BEAUTIFUL! I might weep! Also: SLAAAAAAASHING!
There’s something majestic about where Man of Steel is potentially heading towards.

There was no road to follow.
There was no horizon to see.
There was no day, there was no night.
There was no wind, no sun, only an unnatural light.

There may be nothing more in life that a person wants than having a second chance.
We always make mistakes. The man who doesn’t is a liar.
And we all hope that a time will come when we can rectify that mistake.
No life is smooth, devoid of regret or choices that err.
We are not a perfect people.
We are not a perfect society.
It will never be like that.
But, we are still here.
I am still here.
So when a second chance does appear through the mist, what do we do?
It’s as if we are so shocked by its appearance that we are frozen.
Inaction.
What needs to be done is almost too much to comprehend. You must understand this.
I didn’t know it was the wrong choice until I had seen the fallout of my actions.
Can I be wholly to be blame?
I guess not, but it feels like the weight is all upon me.
I’m haunted by it. Haunted by what it has marked me as,
Haunted by what I’ve done to so many people.
haunted by the question: Can I ever undo what I’ve done?
That the answer lies somewhere in the infinite beyond should give an idea of the possibility.
But I can’t let it pass me by.
I’m not enough.
I’ve always known that, even as I forged ahead with my folly.
Never heeding the warnings that people gave me.
That’s why I need you and others.
The blame is not yours but if you can find it within your souls to help me then maybe there is a way out.
It may not be for us.
But it’s not about us.
It never was.
It’s your choice.
